You may be surprised with the extremely low CPU utilization during DivX and simple MPEG2 playback. It is not the mistake with the our measuring method but the achievement of the chipset and VLC player. When the driver was removed, CPU utilization run up to 88% for DivX playback. As you can see it is possible to repeat your old affaires in the ancient 3D games with the maximum comfort but the actual titles will work only with the lowest resolution and quality settings.
Incredible potentials are revealed in the BIOS for the first look! You can speed up FSB clock from 200 up to 450 MHz, PCI Express limits at 145 MHz and HT-multiplier can be chose from 1x-5x range which is important if you raise FSB clock significantly. But when we tried to overclock our system the result appeared to be disappointing. Achievable 245 MHz is not bad for our CPU without voltage boosting, but it works only in the 2D environment whereas the any 3D load cause instability even at 210 MHz.
