Die CeBIT hat sich dieses Jahr deutlich verändert... Halle 1 wird umgebaut und entsprechend sind gewisse große Hersteller ganz ausgefallen, und die CeBIT findet nicht mehr von Mittwoch bis Mittwoch statt, sondern nun vom Dienstag bis Sonntag. Diese neue Regelung ermöglicht vor allem Fachbesucher, die Messe länger zu genießen ohne zu viel von von "normalen Besuchern" gestört zu werden. Denn bisher befand sich der Besuchertag genau zwischen den Messetagen, entsprechend waren oft Hallen völlig überfüllt, ein Durchgehen oft nur sehr mühsam möglich. Auch wenn die CeBIT sich damit mehr in Richtung B2B bewegt, fallen immer mehr Hersteller aus, denn die Messepreise und vor allem die Hotels sind oft zu teuer. Viele Hersteller äußern sich z.B. immer mehr dazu, andere Fachmessen wie die IFA in Zukunft vorziehen zu wollen.

Die CeBIT bleibt trotz allem auch weiterhin die größte Computermesse der Welt, und hat sich dieses Jahr besonders dem Thema Green-IT gewidmet.
