MiniTechNet is the young hardware magazine, which is specialized in miniature technologies. Even though our platform is active just since August 2004 we are growing to a market leading magazine.

Our reports about Mini-Barebones are not surpassed by any other website. Based upon the high acceptance and request of our readers we have opened recently the following new channels in MiniTechNet: notebooks, thin-clients and flat-panels

Mission Statement

Through articles, tests and a discussion board our readers get to know the future of personal computers and entertainment devices. In our detailed reports and our care to discover minor flaws we encourage and support the manufacturers to enhance and improve their products. We as MiniTechNet see ourselves as a strategic partner for manufacturers and commerce.

History

Igor Campana, founder and C.E.O. of MiniTechNet, has found for a long time that there is an enormous waste of space in modern Computers. In the summer of 2002 he developed the first Mini-PCs in cube design. The at that time new Via Epia Mainboards made the project cost-saving and realizable.

This concept took part in the business plan competition of the Tyrolian "Zukunftsstiftung" and was among the winners. In the following year the market of Mini-Barebones, Epia Mainboards and Notebooks started to flourish.

In December 2003 the MiniTechNet userforum went online for the first time. In March 2004 the MiniTechNet team published exclusive CeBit reports. Manufacturers like Shuttle, Epox, Abit, Aopen, Elitegroup, Via Technologies, TranquilPC, Norhtec and others invited us to look behind the scenes to report on new developments.

MiniTechNet in English

On the basis of the great increasing market in this sector, the demand rose for an international gearing/orientation of MiniTechNet. Starting with the CeBit 2005 new employees put the magazine in English at the disposal on the www.MiniTechNet.com domain.

Relaunch... MiniTechNet 2.0

In August 2004 the complete MiniTechNet Website was revised and hosted on an own server. The new website does not only enable the team to administer the content dynamically but to integrate completely new sections into the layout. So MiniTechNet offers now optimal advertisement opportunities.
